I have been part of the Amesbury School community since 2013, when I started here as a Year 1 student. I have 2 brothers who have also attended Amesbury, and my youngest brother is currently in Year 4, so my family and I have a strong connection to the kura. Having grown up here, I'm very familiar with the school's values, staff, and community.
I'm passionate about supporting our tamariki and love seeing them grow, learn, and build confidence every day. I enjoy helping them feel included, encouraging them to try new things, and supporting them through challenges so they can succeed in their own way. Watching kids learn and grow is very fulfilling, and to be a part of their learning journey is a blessing.
I wear two hats at Amesbury School. During school hours, I work as a Teacher Aide, supporting students in their learning and development. Before and after school, I'm the Programme Coordinator for Kelly Club Amesbury, where I help create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children attending the programme. Having both roles allows me to connect with students and their whānau throughout the school day and beyond.
