Te Wiki o te Reo Māori (Māori Language Week)
This coming week is te Wiki o te Reo Māori (Māori Language Week) - 14-20 Hepetema.
Te reo is a part of who we are and te Wiki o te Reo Māori is a great opportunity to learn - along with your tamariki - a little more te reo. Every little bit helps -ahakoa he iti, he pounamu (although it is small, it is precious).
Amesbury School has partnered with Downtown Community Ministry
Just a reminder that we have a collection point in the school's reception area for you to drop off non-perishable items. A small contribution by a number quickly becomes a large quantity. A suggested list is included in Urs's article together with more information about DCM. Please add an item to your weekly shop to help our vulnerable neighbours. A sincere thanks in advance.
Downtown Community Ministry's (DCM) motto is “Together we can end homelessness” and to do this they partner with the Wellington Community to provide for the practical needs to achieve this objective.

Earlier this week we had four teams attend the Futsal Festival at the Ākau Tangi Sports Centre.
