Knowing if a Child is Well Enough to be at School
This is a guidance for parents and caregivers from the Ministry of Health. It provides some good practical advice especially as we are still working our way through various winter ailments.
Onesie/Oodie Day at School - Friday
The annual Onesie/Oodie Day at Amesbury will take place on Friday 11 September.
It's great to see the array of Onesies & Oodies that everyone comes to school in but more importantly the day is about fundraising for the Wellington Free Ambulance. While the service is free to users, it is certainly not cost-free to operate. This is where you come in. Please make a donation here - small or big, it all helps. Don't wait until 11 September - share your donation now so that you don't forget.
Thanks to those who have already contributed.
Term 3 - Disco! - Friday
We need your help to run this Disco - please complete the volunteer form: Helpers.
The highlight of each term is our Disco, and this term's Disco is on Friday 11 September:
Junior Disco (Koru/Te Rito) - 4.30-5.30pm
Senior Disco (Pōhutukawa) - 5.45-7.30pm
And we like to especially thank Vik at The Mortgage Company for their sponsorship of the Term 3 Disco.
Check out all the details here. Tickets and pre-ordered pizza can be purchased on Kindo.

This coming week our theme is Deep Blue Sea, and we have lots of exciting activities planned! Come join us as we:
make sea fossil cookies
get crafty creating our own sea animals
enjoy a game of crab football
also have plenty of other fun games, creative activities, and adventures throughout the week.
It’s going to be a fin-tastic week filled with creativity, laughter, and lots of underwater fun! Have a lovely weekend, and we can’t wait to see you all at Kelly Club Amesbury next week!
Kelly Club Holiday Programmes focus on giving children aged between 5 and 13 the opportunity to do things they enjoy in a safe, supportive and encouraging environment.
