School Photos - Orders close on Thursday
We sent out a HERO notification, on 18 August, advising that the school photos were now available for ordering. That post provides all of the links needed to view and order the photos.
Please note that the fundraising period for this gallery will finish at midnight on Thursday 28th August and orders placed and paid for by this date aim to be dropped off at yourschool by the 19th September.
Year 4-6 Swimming Sports - Vounteers Needed
This year's Pōhutukawa (Year 4-6) swimming sports will be held on Monday 8 September at the Tawa Pool, commencing at 10.30am.
Volunteers are still needed to assist in running this event. If you are available please email Rachel at rachelhosnell@amesbury.school.nz.

Consultation Session
Another matter that Urs has covered in her Editorial is Consultation Session from 5-6pm on Thursday 11 September. The purpose of the session is to discuss with the School Board and Leadership Team your thoughts on a new strategic plan which is due this year, mapping out goals and focus areas over the next three years.
If you are planning to come along, please fill in this very quick form, to give an idea of numbers (helps for the pizza order!).
Sausage Sizzle - Friday
We are holding a sausage sizzle at lunchtime on Friday 29 August.
This is a fundraising event for cover the cost of the tutors from Inano Dance who are presenting our Pasifika Dance programme to our tamariki every Monday.We are especially thankful to Ground Up Homes, a local building company, which is kindly sponsoring this fundraiser for us.
Sausages are $2 each and orders can be made via our school Kindo Shop no later than 2pm on Thursday 28 August. A small number of sausages may be available for cash on the day.

The latest issue from Scholastic's Book Club - Issue 5 - is now available to view and for placing orders.

Touch Rugby - Term 4
Touch Rugby is on again in Term 4 and we are looking for registrations - both girls & boys - in all grades. See here for all the details.
The focus is on is on fundamentals, participation and fun.
As always, we need a coach with each team, so if you are available, please include your information in the registration form.
