On Monday of Week 2 this term (27th July) we will be holding a lunchtime sausage sizzle at school, to help us with the final amount of fundraising needed for our Year 5 and 6 week-long camp in term 4.
Our fundraising goal has been to raise $10,000 over last year and this year towards the year 5 and 6 camp cost. This allows us to keep the cost of camp as close to $300 per tamaiti (child) as possible. Securing funding from Pub Charity Limited for our travel costs has then enabled us to get the camp cost even lower, to approx $280 per tamaiti, which is great news! We are extremely close to our $10,000 fundraising aim, and by holding two final lunchtime sausage sizzles over the next two terms, this will enable us to reach our goal.
