Co-curricular Classes in Term 4
Our lessons for Term 4 commence on Wednesday in Week 1, so now is the perfect time to sign up for new or additional classes, or to make changes to existing classes.
We really appreciate the support that we receive from parents for our co-curricular programme. This enables us to:
provide opportunities for tamariki to try out new things, or to become more proficient, all in school time
receive additional funding for the school to provide extra activities for our tamariki
achieve this within school time - meaning that parents don't have to use out of school time to take their children to lessons; and
all at a lesser cost than enrolling tamariki in externally provided lessons.
A reminder to parents of existing co-curricular students - if you haven't done so already - please send John any changes that that you wish to make.
Read all about our co-curricular classes here, and contact John to sign up and with any questions that you may have.
Senior Athletics at Newtown Park
Our Year 4-6 ākonga will travel to Newtown Park on Thursday 9 October (the first week of Term 4) to take part in our annual athletics day.
Whānau are welcome to come along to watch and support with the first event due to start around 10am. If you are planning on coming along and are able to volunteer to help, please let Rachel know at rachelhosnell@amesbury.school.nz.
