Senior Athletics Day
Our Year 4-6 tamariki are off to Newtown Park on Thursday 15 October (the first week of Term 4) for our Senior School Athletics.
There is a wide range of events covering running, jumping and throwing.
Whānau are invited along to watch & support and, if you want a close up view, you could volunteer to help run the events.

Share & Celebrate
Some awesome things were recognised in our latest Share & Celebrate gathering this week. While they are all special achievements, I don't think that it is unreasonable to highlight one of our tamariki who is off to Spain to represent New Zealand at the world champs.

Can you help - are you going to, or passing by any of these locations? The office has a bag of used batteries to be dropped off.
Uniform
Get ready for the summer in Term 4. All students must have an Amesbury sunhat to be able to play outside during break time, so dig into those drawers and wardrobes, dust them off, or buy a new one on Kindo - available in size Small through to Extra Large.
Absence/Medical
If a student is unwell and absent from school for 5 consecutive days due to medical reasons, we ask for a medical certificate from a health professional (including the date seen, confirming the days unfit for school and estimated return date)For colds, flu and rsv, students are able to return to school when they have no fever for 24 hours, no need for medicine to reduce fever for 24 hours and no or only mild symptoms (i.e. mild cough, headache, runny/blocked nose). Absence/Away: 4 or more days away from school due to holiday or travel during term time, parents are to email Urs, the Principal. For planned trips, this should be well in advance of the holiday/time away from school.Contact information

Lunch orders
Lunch orders are available from Wednesday to Friday every week. Hooray it’s the last week of Term 3! What an incredible term it has been, and we’re ready to finish it off with lots of fun, laughter and dancing!
