Lessons will run over eight consecutive weeks in Term 2. The dates are currently being confirmed. They will happen during the school day between 10 - 1pm at Keith Spry Pool and will be run by Easyswim.
This letter tells you what to expect from the lessons. It includes a QR code link to a YouTube video with lots of great information as well. Easyswim’s owner Todd is offering a free swimming assessment for all students (including those with additional needs) prior to school swimming lessons. This is a great opportunity to have a good understanding of where your child is in their swimming and build your child’s confidence as well. Please see the letter and form below for more information on this.
The cost will be approximately $72 for the eight lessons This includes bus travel to and from the pool. This is based on last year's costs; we will confirm this at a later date.
To register your child for swimming, please complete this Easyswim form no later than Sunday, 29th March, for each of your children in Pōhutukawa Hub. If you do not wish for your child to participate in swimming this year, please email your child's whānau teacher to let them know.
Please note: by registering your child for swimming, you acknowledge that if your child withdraws at a later date, you will be charged for any costs that Amesbury School has committed to pay for. (School will not charge you for any fees we have not yet paid, but we will charge for costs already incurred.)
