School Photos

Our annual school photos sessions taken by Inspire Photography are coming up:

  • Tuesday 23rd June - Individual, Sibling (those that attend school), Friend(s) and Class

  • Thursday 25th June - sports team photos - students to please wear sports tops if their team wore/wears them)

All photos will be uploaded online to a section of the Inspire Photography website where Amesbury families will be given a school specific password code to view these once they are available. The password will be securely provided to caregivers, so isn't 'accessible' externally online. When ready, photos will be available to purchase in a printed format or as a digital copy.

Amesbury's Got Talent

What an amazing variety of talents on display at the Amesbury's Got Talent Finals. How do you judge that?

But the judges did their job and the results were met with great applause. If you want to know you won then you will need to read all about it here.

Congrats to all the participants both in the heats and the finalists themselves and thanks to the judges (Carter & Floyd) and a special big thanks to Hannah who organised the event so very well.

Inter Zone Cross Country

Congratulations to our four students who represented Amesbury so well at the Inter Zone Cross Country earlier this week.

Two of them finished in the top ten and now go on to represent the school at the Regional Cross Country at the end of the month.

Who are these amazing representatives? Find out here.

Paper Towel Tubes Needed

Te Rito is kindly requesting donations of cardboard tubes from paper towel rolls. Please either drop them into the office or take them directly to Te Rito which is our New Entrant area.

A sincere thanks in advance.

New World Club+ in Schools Fundraising

With New World moving to the New World Club+ card, we would ask all those who are currently signed up to the soon to be replaced card as well as new supporters to complete this Form which will result in 1% of the total spend of all linked Club+ cards to be donated to Amesbury School.

To make it even easier, we have some forms already printed and available in the office. When you are next in school simply grab one, fill it in, and hand it in.

It costs you nothing - other than the time to complete the form - and ensures that Amesbury receives ongoing fundraising to provide equipment for the benefit of our tamariki.

To read further details on the opportunity and to see a list of what we have purchased so far, please read all about it here.

Amesbury Kapa Haka Performance Group

Every year Amesbury sends a performance group along to the St. Brigid’s Kapa Haka Festival. This year it will be held on Saturday 19 September at Newlands College.

With it being a non-competitive festival we invite all interested tamariki to participate from any year level. Participants are asked to complete this form and in Term 3 our Kapa Haka Tutor, Hemi Prime, will work with them during school time to prepare.

More details about the festival can be found here. Please read and sign up.
