The first day for Term 3 will be Monday 14 July @ 9am.
Amesbuy's Got Talent Finals - Friday
The last day of term (Friday 27 June) will see the AGT Finals take place commencing at 1.45pm.
We know from the quality of the heats that this will be an entertaining afternoon and we invite you along to see for yourselves and to support the nine acts in the finals. The list of whom can be found here.
Koru Swimming Carnival - Registrations close Friday
The Years 0-3 swimming carnival will be held at Tawa Pool on Tuesday 22nd July - that's Week 2 in Term 3.
In the meantime can you please complete this registration form (one per child) no later than 27th June.
As usual, for our off site events, we are seeking parent support for our ākonga to ensure their safety in the pool. If you are able to help please email Lily lily@amesbury.school.nz.
Of course, we also encourage whānau to come along and support theirs and all the tamariki.

ICAS Exams 2025
ICAS are on again this year and will be facilitated by Amesbury for any of our interested Year 3-6 tamariki. Read here for all of the information you need to take part.

Drama Remedy Holiday Programme
Brought to you by Maneesha, Amesbury's Speech & Drama co-curricular teacher.
This coming week's theme is our party week and the children have voted for Disney. We will be:
making Minnie & Mickey cookies
playing musical statues, sleeping lions
participating in a Disney quiz and Bingo
getting creative and creating Disney Paper chains as well as recreating the house from UP.
We cannot wait to see you all there.

Research Invitation – Supporting PhD Study on Mothers’ Friendships
Samantha Ussher is a PhD student at Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington. She is conducting research on friendships of mothers (legal guardians) in Wellington City-based families. This study focuses specifically on families where the eldest child is between 10 and 12 years old.
Participation is entirely voluntary, and the research has been approved by the University Ethics Committee HE00031.
