2027 @ Amesbury

Please let us know if your child will be leaving at the end of this year, as this will help us with our planning for next year. Either email your child's whānau teacher, or Rachel. Thanks.

Online Safety Presentation

John Parsons, a leading authority on online safety in Aotearoa New Zealand, will be presenting - on Thursday 3 September - an evening session for whānau to which you are invited.

Spaces are extremely limited as the session is open to our entire Tarikākā cluster. Please read the information article and, if you are interested, quickly secure a spot as Amesbury has only 30 guaranteed places.

Chicken Pox

We have been advised of a student in Pōhutukawa Hub with a confirmed case of Chicken Pox. Even if your child has been immunised for this, please keep a watch for any spots in the event that they may have a mild case.

If your child does develop chicken pox, or any infectious disease, please advise the office (office@amesbury.school.nz) so we can monitor trends and advise our school community as appropriate.

Onesie/Oodie Day at School - Friday 11 September

The annual Onesie/Oodie Day at Amesbury will take place on Friday 11 September.

It's great to see the array of Onesies & Oodies that everyone comes to school in but more importantly the day is about fundraising for the Wellington Free Ambulance. While the service is free to users, it is certainly not cost-free to operate. This is where you come in. Please make a donation here - small or big, it all helps. Don't wait until 11 September - share your donation now so that you don't forget.

Thanks to those who have already contributed.

Term 3 - Disco! - Friday 11 September

The highlight of each term is our Disco, and this term's Disco is on Friday 11 September:

  • Junior Disco (Koru/Te Rito) - 4.30-5.30pm

  • Senior Disco (Pōhutukawa) - 5.45-7.30pm

And we like to especially thank Vik at The Mortgage Company for their sponsorship of the Term 3 Disco.

Check out all the details here. Tickets and pre-ordered pizza can be purchased on Kindo.
