School Community Gathering - Friday
Amesbury families are invited to join together on Friday, 13th February, from 4:00pm to 5:30 pm on the main school field for an afternoon of connection, laughter, and shared experiences.
School will supply pizza and a sausage sizzle but you are most welcome to bring along your favourite family kai (food) to share with your loved ones as you enjoy a picnic on the field.
This is a great opportunity for the entire Amesbury community to get to meet new friends or to get to know others better.
Emergency Reunification Drill
On Thursday 26 March we are running an emergency drill at school. The purpose is to ensure that our systems are in place and operating properly in the event of a real emergency.
This drill will focus on communicating with parents/caregivers by text at 2pm and have you all come and pick up your tamariki. If you - as parents or caregivers - are unable to pick up your child/ren you can have someone else do it for you. Please note that only those parents/caregivers/ emergency contacts on HERO will be able to pick up your child/ren.
Please:
Read Jenny's Emergency Reunification Drill article.
Add the event to your calendar.
Check HERO to ensure that all of these details are up to date.
