Years 3 to 6 trip to Wellington Museum and Matiu Somes Island
All of our Year 3-6 ākonga will be traveling to the Wellington Museum and Matiu Somes Island in June.
Rupert's notification article advises which of the four days your tamariki will be participating and other relevant information.
Importantly, we need parent help on each of those days to ensure a safe and fulfilling day for all of the tamariki. If you can assist, can Year 3 parents advise Amaria (amaria.picard@amesbury.school.nz) and Year 4-6 parent please email Rupert (rupert@amesbury.school.nz).
Miniball Term 3 - Register Now
Registrations are now open if your tamariki wish to play miniball in Term 3. If you did not play in the current term please use this form. Others will have received an email from Amelia with a separate link.

ICAS Exams 2025
ICAS are on again this year and will be facilitated by Amesbury for any of our interested Year 3-6 tamariki. Read here for all of the information you need to take part.
Next steps:
For those who have not participated in ICAS exams at Amesbury previously parents are required to attend a short meeting held in Pōhutukawa on Thursday 19 June @ 4pm-4:30pm
Complete an ICAS Registration Form for each child no later than Tuesday 15 July
Make payment for the exam prior to sitting the exam
Amesbury’s Got Talent 2025 - Heats Begin Friday
Entries have closed and you should have received an email advised the date of the heats for your tamariki.
Heats - Weeks 6 & 7
Finals - 2pm on Friday 27 June

This coming week's theme is Ocean Commotion. We will be:
making an under-the-sea jelly
playing a fun game of cannon ball pop
creating our own paper cup boats that we will get to test out in some water
playing a sport called hot cannonball

Schools Alpine Competition
This year's Schools Alpine Competition will be held at Cadrona on 23 & 24 September.
