After a successful year of recycling soft plastics in 2025, we are pleased to let you know that our soft plastic recycling programme will begin again this term.
From Thursday 19th February, a group of Year 6 students will walk to New World each Thursday with Gar Kee to recycle the soft plastics collected from the recycling bins around our school hubs.
This programme supports student leadership, sustainability, and kaitiakitanga, while helping our school reduce waste going to the landfill.
Important for Year 6 whānau:Parents and caregivers of Year 6 students will receive an email shortly containing a Google Form to confirm permission for their child to take part in this off-site walk. Students will only participate once permission has been received.
