Get Ready for the 2025 School Fun Run!

By: Rachel Hosnell | Posted Thursday May 8, 2025

Students in Years 4–6 helped design the course last year by sharing their ideas for obstacle stations, and this year’s event is packed with creativity, energy, and teamwork. From dance battles to dodgeball, tunnel crawls to hula hoop challenges, the Fun Run is all about participation, fun, and giving things a go!

The course will be set up around the school grounds, with students moving through a series of exciting stations such as:

  • Mini hurdles

  • Cartwheel and vault challenges

  • A parachute zone

  • Speed ladders and zigzag runs

  • Tug of war

  • A high-energy finish line!

Each whānau group will run the course together, and the event will run in Block 3 from 1:50pm (weather permitting - will still run in light rain).

Parents and caregivers are very welcome to come along, watch the action, and support the tamariki. Whether you're cheering from the sidelines or helping out with one of the stations, your presence helps make the day even more special.
