On Saturday 21st of February our excited ākonga and whānau headed to the Sky Stadium to represent Amesbury! We had around 55 ākonga show up to support the Wellington Phoenix.
You all did such an amazing job whether you were a mascot, an honor guard, or a parent cheering from the stands. There was even mention that the walk out was the best one all season! So well done all, you have made Amesbury so proud.
A huge thank you to all who participated and made the day run so smoothly. A special shout out to Nic and Kris for their hard work running around making sure our Mascots were ready to go. Another shout out to Susanna who looked after the honor guards! Without your guys' help opportunities like this would not be possible!
