Practice for Pōhutukawa’s Athletics day kicked off with a bang on Thursday! Ākonga loved getting outside and challenging themselves at high jump, long jump, vortex, quoits, sprints and more.
To help make our Athletics day at Newtown Park safe and successful we really need some parent assistance on the day.
Here is info for your diary:
What: Athletics event for Amesbury’s senior school (all those in Year 4, 5 & 6 in Pōhutukawa)
Where: Newtown Park. (Next to the zoo in Newtown). We will travel to and from by buses.
When: Thu 15 October 2026. 10am - 2.00pm. (Buses leave school at 9.00, be at school early)
Help: Parent help is needed to help teachers run events.
