Rufus from Pōhutukawa Hub and Mei Mei from Koru Hub are fundraising for the Cancer Society. The Wellington Relay for Life is being held from 30th - 31st May, and Rufus and Mei Mei would like to donate to this.
They will be holding a lemonade stall and bake sale directly after school (3pm) on Friday 15th May, with all proceeds going to the Cancer Society. They have also set up an Amesbury School donation page for Relay for Life, which you can find here (click 'donate' and enter the team name 'Amesbury')
Ways that you can support Mei Mei and Rufus:
Help with providing cupcakes, cakes, cookies, and/or gluten free or dairy free baking
If you are able to help with baking, please contact Rufus and Mei Mei's mum, Marisa: marisabey.watt@gmail.com, or text her on 021 156 9818
Come along on the day and support the bake sale at 3pm on Friday 15th May by purchasing some baked treats and/or lemonade
Donate online to the Amesbury School Relay for Life page set up by Mei Mei and Rufus. This is a general Amesbury donation page as a way to donate to this very worthy cause (there is no Amesbury team running in the relay)
It is an incredibly worthy cause, and we wholeheartedly support Mei Mei and Rufus with this. The Cancer Society looks to support New Zealanders with cancer and their whānau, and fundraising goes to the Cancer Society's supportive care services, education programmes, prevention policy, and life-saving cancer research.
So, head to the Amesbury School fundraising page to support this cause, get your bake on to help provide some fundraising treats, and come along to the bake sale for some tasty treats, with all proceeds going to the fundraising.
