This afternoon, we celebrated our ākonga who were presented with Amesbury Awesomeness Awards. These students consistently show our Amesbury School High Five Values across everything they do. Ka pai hoki koutou—we are so proud of you!
Annie L: Congratulations Annie! We are so proud of all you have accomplished. You are so deserving of this award, you have come so far in your learning and are truly treasured by all of us. Thank you for supporting others, showing patience and kindness, and always giving everything your 100% effort. You are a role model who leads by example. Thank you for being awesome!
Stefan: You are a kind and wonderful person who has made such a positive impact in Te Rito. The teachers can always count on you to make good choices and do the right thing. You are always willing to help others by showing them what to do and being a great role model. You think carefully about your learning and make thoughtful choices about who you work with, finding learning buddies who help you stay focused and complete your learning.
We are all delighted to see how much you have grown throughout your school journey so far, and we can’t wait to see all the wonderful things you will achieve in the future.
Zachary: Congratulations Zachary. You are kind and help others with their work. You read to others when they cannot. You make sure no one is left behind.

Kaia: Kaia, It is wonderful to have you in Koru Hub! We especially love seeing how excited you get when sharing all your quirky and fascinating facts, whether it’s about the Titanic, hence the video, boats, aeroplanes, or anything else that catches your interest!
Your kind, enthusiastic and helpful nature really stands out. You are always ready to lend a hand, give things a go, and make positive choices.
