Wellington Phoenix Football

Wellington Phoenix Football Club has reached out and offered an amazing opportunity to Amesbury School. There are 60 Spots up for grabs (20 Player Mascots) (40 honour guard spots). Please read the details below and fill in the form no later than Tuesday (10 February). 


Please Note - If we have overflow with responses priority will go to the 2025 Aku tangi Futsal players and students who participated in the in-school football competition with Rupert last year. We will then pull names out of a hat to fill the other available spots.

Date of event: Saturday 21st February 

Matchday Experiences

To confirm, we have approximately 20 spots available for player mascots (students will need to be no taller than 170cm) and up to 40 spots for the honour guard. Each participating student will receive a complimentary ticket for the Junior Nix Zone (Aisle 29 & 30) for themselves and one parent/caregiver. We will also provide tickets for any staff or chaperones attending.

 

Meeting Point

Our meeting point will be the Gatehouse to the right of the Sky Stadium entrance (see attached). The arrival time will be as follows:

  • Player Mascots – 3.45 PM

  • Honour Guard – 4.00 PM

 

Tickets

Complimentary tickets will be provided upon arrival. Our staff/volunteers will distribute Match Day Experience accreditation to participants before chaperoning participants to rehearsals. Parents will be able to enter the stadium gates from 4pm.  

 

Attire
Player Mascot | The player mascots will be provided a t-shirt to wear during the walkout. We ask that they wear black shorts and a top/undershirt that can sit under the t-shirt.

Honour Guard | The honour guard is welcome to wear whatever they like (but, of course, we encourage yellow and black!)

Post Kick-Off
Once the match experiences conclude and the match gets underway, participants will be returned to the stands via the AISLE 20 STAIRS (see attached) and escorted back to the Junior Nix Zone (Aisle 29 & 30).  

Additional Tickets
Complimentary tickets will be provided for the Junior Nix Zone (GA seating). Should parents/caregivers wish to purchase any additional tickets in this zone, they can use the following link for a 10% discount on tickets for this match:

Please note - No Amesbury Staff will be at this event - You will need to take your child to the game.
