We have an easy and effective way for you to help support our school in funding ‘nice to have’ items that enhance our ākonga learning and play experiences. By simply linking your New World Club Card to Amesbury School and using it when you shop at Churton Park New World, $1 is donated to the school for every $100 spent. It’s a simple way to make a big difference.

New World donates funds to our school every three months.
No personal information is collected or stored by School or New World, just your Club Card number. We also ask for your email address, in case the number you enter into the form is invalid.
What have we achieved so far?
Thanks to your support, our first set of funding helped us purchase a Kī-o-Rahi kit, a super fun traditional Māori ball game for our students to enjoy (see the picture above). Our second round of funding went towards purchasing soft play equipment for the blue matting area outside Koru Hub. Our third fundraising round has been split over several smaller opportunities: funding the costumes for our Dance Splash group, who will be performing later this term at the Michael Fowler Centre; and purchasing some play equipment for our new sandpit (alongside several fabulous items donated by a school family). See the photos at the bottom of this article to see ākonga enjoying the various things funded through our Clubcard fundraising.
What’s next?
We receive funds raised by community Clubcard donations every three months. The July - September round of funding will go towards the fabulous Inano Dance (Pacific dance) module of lessons that all ākonga will be doing this term. Some of the cost of these lessons will be raised by fundraising completed by our Pacific Group (running a school disco and holding several sausage sizzle lunch orders), and the remaining funding will be covered by our Clubcard funds for quarter three this year. All ākonga will benefit from this great opportunity, and we are delighted that through various fundraising means, we can make this happen.
