Online safety and inappropriate uses of devices and the internet are a concern for many whānau. John Parsons is a cyber safety and risk assessment consultation, and is the author of 'Keeping Your Children Safe Online'. John will be working with our Tarikākā cluster of schools in a few weeks' time in a number of ways.
John will be holding an online safety session with Pōhutukawa ākonga (students) on Wednesday 2nd September, and he will then stay at school and present a staff session with staff from Amesbury School, Johnsonville School and St Brigid's School. On Thursday 3rd September, John will then present an evening session for whānau from across our Tarikākā cluster.
Due to the number of schools involved, there are limited tickets for each school. Amesbury School has 30 whānau tickets available for the session. As such, we will only allocate one ticket per whānau for those who are interested.

🖥️ Tickets cost $5 each and will be charged to your Kindo school account
To register for a ticket, please complete this short form as soon as possible (tickets will go to the first 30 whānau who register). Registrations close on Friday 14th August at 12pm. You will be contacted shortly after Friday 14th August to confirm if you have gained a ticket or if you are on the waitlist in case further tickets become available.
