On Wednesday afternoon Amesbury had some very special visitors come in from the Wellington Firebirds & Wellington Blaze cricket teams. One of our senior students wrote a letter inviting the team to come in and visit, and they did just that.
We spent the afternoon asking pātai (questions) and learning some tips and tricks when out on the field. All ākonga who attended had a great time working on their cricket skills and soaking up knowledge from the experts.
